I am planning to fit fuel lines to my velocity at the weekend and would like to know the required rubber fuel lines specification. The build manual says 6mm fuel hose and 8mm fuel hose also 15mm hose.Does anybody know exactly what i will need?
I am fitting fuel injection 2.0 pinto as in build manual.
I went to Pirtek at lunchtime and guy got me all confused and said he required spec for pipes or he couldnt help.
Thanks Guys

I've used Ø8mm micro bore copper pipe for the main run through the tunnel. the connections to tank, fuel pump and carb etc are made with EFI rated fuel hose, bought from Halfords, secured with fuel pipe clips (different to jubilee clips).

I used 5/16" kunifer - about 8mm. It flows enough for injection, doesn't corrode too easily, is safe for fuel and doesn't fatigue or crack very easily. The rest is standard fuel injection grade rubber hose.

Cheers,

Eddy

When I bought my hose from Halfords, I went through the stock to find one that had 'FUEL' marked on it, I think the SVA man need to see this.
