my Dads has just rung me up and asked if i know what make of smallish car has a badge that consists of a prancing deer in an oval...it was on a 51(2001) plate car.

Any of you lot know, because i haven't got the faintest idea.

Think that list must be ones sold in the us over the years - Proton are missing and I have a feeling others.

scootz - 27/7/10 at 06:04 PM

Hmmmm - I think I remember seeing a logo that matches that description on a van in Malaysia (I was generally inquisitive about all the car brands I'd never seen before ). Apparently it was just a Perodua, but for that particular model they put a deer logo on it rather than the normal Perodua logo because it was called a Perodua 'Deer' (well not deer, but the Malay word for deer which I can't remember). Can't imagine what it would be doing on a 51 plate car over here though?

meany - 27/7/10 at 06:15 PM

apparently, its a car my parents have seen for sale, they are looking for one to replace the rover they have in spain.

i'll have a look at it tomorrow its only 1/2 mile away...it better be a deer in an oval, or i'll be having words with my Dad.....lol

blakep82 - 27/7/10 at 06:17 PM

ah wait, is that not some indian brand?

Ah ha! Perodua Rusa - that was it. Logo was something more like the one in this video...

Maybe they sold a few over here? But it was a Bedford Rascal sort of thing rather than a car.

meany - 27/7/10 at 06:38 PM

ita a nippa, you can just see the badge in this vid.

morcus - 27/7/10 at 10:00 PM

Perodua was my first thought from the description, though its not on all cars.

Ninehigh - 28/7/10 at 01:49 PM

Nippa's a craking car, but if you're both 17 stone or more expect to be rubbing shoulders in the front seats.

Was pretty quick as it had no weight in it
