I've just been offered this as a doer-upper by a friend of my missus.

Not worth anything to me

Edit: good ones are only worth a few hundred so that one could cost more to do up than buying a good one in the first place

I would take some weight off it and use it as a field bike for a bit of fun

scrap the bike and keep the dog

Could make it a cafe racer, still wouldn't be worth much but a nice little winter project.

She wants £130 for the bike, won't sell the mutt

£130 it's scrap, by the time you've done it up you could have bought a decent project bike

Tell her you'll take it away for £130 as arranging transport to take it to the scrap yard costs way more than what you get in scrap.
