Locost T Shirt
ChrisS - 24/6/08 at 03:33 PM

I was thinking of having some polo shirts embroidered with a locost logo, mainly because i like wearing polo shirts, and thyre a bit boring plain.

Just wanted to get peoples reaction to the logo.

You seem to have miss-spelt CEC

Humbug - 24/6/08 at 03:38 PM

...and added an unnecessary windscreen

nib1980 - 24/6/08 at 03:42 PM

like the car, don't like the words

ChrisS - 24/6/08 at 03:44 PM

You guys are hard to please

same here, don't see the point in engine type unless you do the girly bike engined one in pink

Kriss - 24/6/08 at 03:48 PM

I love that Logo, think the font could be worked on a bit but its very cool

would certainly like something (maybe not a T-shirt)

Anyway this logo could be added to the "locostbuilder" brand guidelines?

Brilliant

Mr G - 24/6/08 at 03:57 PM

Just add...

'YOU'LL HAVE TO BACK UP
I'VE GOT NO REVERSE'

to the bottom of the BEC one and it will be ideal for wearing whilst out and about driving.

Mr Whippy - 24/6/08 at 03:58 PM

Also I think most of the BEC owners would prefer a bum bag or fanny packs as their tastelessly known in the states. CEC owners would of course prefer a camouflage headband as per Rambo

Guinness - 24/6/08 at 04:11 PM

I like the profile of the car. I can't really see the point of telling people which engine you have.

I'd change the text to say "Locostbuilders"

Cheers

Mike

BenB - 24/6/08 at 04:17 PM

Defs ditch the car type and go for Locostbuilders(tm).
And personally I'd go for a T not a polo-shirt....

Nice idea though

Agreed with "Locostbuilders". The CEC guys can have theirs written in a really REALLY HEAVY FONT while the BEC boys have a minimalistic light weight font.

rallyingden - 24/6/08 at 05:11 PM

Is that radius on the windscreen good enough for SVA test !!!

Brill idea for club Would be interested.

Ps Need to drop the engine text though.

RD

skodaman - 24/6/08 at 06:28 PM

Would be better if it said Locost 7

Dangle_kt - 24/6/08 at 06:49 PM

on a hoody - you can take my order now.

Not all the car's here are 7's.................. Love the idea of a T shirt though

Put it on the back instead and you won;t have to turn round

chris_smith - 24/6/08 at 07:41 PM

yeah its spot on drop the engine part though

Ivan - 24/6/08 at 08:25 PM

CEC - pushing to get to the front
BEC - pushing to get to the back

Like the design tho

phil m - 24/6/08 at 08:40 PM

Going back to the origional question!!!!!!

Great - I'll have one of each

matt.c - 24/6/08 at 08:41 PM

Nice design with the car and i like the idea of the "LOCOSTBUILDERS" on there too.

At the end of the day we all follow this site and its about time we supported the "LOCOSTBUILDERS" name. We all build different types of cars and i think its very appropriate.

I would buy one anyway...

ChrisS - 24/6/08 at 09:03 PM

Thanks for all of your replies, give me a couple of days to get some prices for t-shirts, polos, hoodies and fleeces and ill post some pics and prices as soon as ive finalised it.

Thanks

Chris

Except for those with Midy's, Phoenix's, Fury's etc etc etc.

Whats up with LocostBuilders.co.uk as per top left of the site?? Worth asking ChrisW about this i guess??

dubstar_04 - 25/6/08 at 06:27 AM

Whats wrong with it just saying locost ?

I know some where that will supply tees and polos shits and embroider any logo on them at a very good price and excellent quality if anyone wants to get any made.

Its in Stockport nr Manchester 0161 2850898

The guy who owns it is great and he is very helpful.

ChrisS - 25/6/08 at 09:10 AM

Ok Guys

Ive asked Chris the site owner about using Locostbuilders, and he has said i cant use it or locostbuilders.co.uk in any way.

So i guess it will have to be simply Locost.

Ill get some prices and get back to you all.

thanks

nib1980 - 25/6/08 at 02:22 PM

I'll be ordering some, but I'll have to wait till I'm home, as only my missus knows my sizes (sad i know)

Humbug - 25/6/08 at 02:41 PM

Any guidance as to what chest size = S, M, L, XL, etc.

Also, have you a pic of samples so we can see what, for example, Heather Grey or Royal Red actually look like?

Cheers,

Simon

Humbug - 25/6/08 at 03:16 PM

Slightly OT, but related - the outline logo would make a nice vinyl sticker in various sizes. Anyone out there got the wherewithal?
