i have an ally tank, where the baffle has been puddle welded in there is a leak.

omega0684 - 22/2/09 at 01:49 PM

i used wurth adhesive when i had a small leak, a year later and its still sealing nicely!

I had the same problem. Fixed it with some tank sealer from Frosts. Wasn't cheap though.

drill a 4mm hole where the leak is and use sealed roof rivit!

I was going to suggest the frost stuff too. They used it in Practical Classics for a really quite manky tank and it appears it did the job nicely....

25 quid mind

I second what Rusty Nuts said - Petropatch. I repaired multiple leaks on my Montesa trials bike ali tank over 20 years ago and it is still going strong.
M & P do it £3.49
