do your wipers not work? how many miles worth is that?

nick205 - 29/6/09 at 11:18 AM

Yup - had to clean my visor after a run out and the nose, roll bar, rear wings and headlights have a liberal smattering of insect carnage to be removed

you know how it goes - by the time you notice it, it is too late to use the wipers because ALL your visibility will disappear

That was only about 50 miles worth

If you're not killing stuff you're not going fast enough I hit a swarm of bees on my bike and was glad I had my visor down.

Its mostly greenfly this year. The farmers must have stopped sparing something which kills them as there are millions of them. They have been more annoying that midges so far this year

I gave up cleaning the GTS for now as in 20 miles its just covered again!

So what do we reckon is the best way to remove glued on bugs from bodywork?

Agriv8 - 1/7/09 at 03:40 PM

Tar and bug remover then wash and apply good layer of quality polish.
