I think this has been covered before but I cant find the specific posts.

I have a few items up on ebay and I have had a couple of enquiries from foreign buyers Belgium and Spain wanting me to offer postage internationally.

They have good ebay feedback and have offered to pay the extra postage and pay by paypal.

Has anyone any experience good or bad?? Can I prove delivery using Interparcel?

Will they just claim it never arrived and raise a paypal dispute?? or am I just being cynical?

Are there any customs implications?

A lot of them are showing a more interest in UK auction since our currency became so weak. Just like us buying stuff from the States when it was $2 to the £.

If you want to put them off just quote silly postage to them when they ask and if they go through with it ensure you use a service that requires a signature

I've done it a few times with no issues, I've sent specialist aircraft tools to Australia, an engine to Portugal and just last month a fuel pump to brazil. As long as the buyer has good feedback, you do everything through paypal and send insured delivery you will be fine.

I recently sent a manifold to Germany with no issues - but I underestimated the postage so worth checking the weight & size accurately.

I often buy stuff from uk and the states. (i live in Sweden).

At least here in sweden you have to identify yourself (photo id) when you pick up a parcelforce package.
You should always use parcel that is insured with the correct value.

Not done it with an ebay sale but I ship stuff out to my daughter in Australia and use a booking agent called TransGlobal (act a bit like Expedia/Lastminute type of site ) they find the cheapest courier for you (which in my case has always been DHL), I'd give them 100% for service, downright bloody brilliant.

I've never had any trouble receiving things from the UK! Don't know about your end, but I'm a great customer!

Never had a problem....

Sent several items to Germany and the U.S. No problems at all. If anything they were more polite and quicker with feedback than when it was a UK sale. As everyone else said, so long as it's recorded through a recognised carrier (you're not paying don't forget) and sent to a paypal address you're fine. Just be careful of the "I am in [enter dodgy part of world] and will pay you extra if you post to my brother in London...."

Makes me a tiny bit nervious as a knee-jerk, but having checked feedback and previous items, weighed it and run that through RM online ive never had a problem yet.

Although there was one bloke who said the postage was too much (like £20 for a abs unit and pump he won for £5) , had me remove the ecu and give a price for that (not un reasonable if thats all he wanted) but then decieded he didnt want that either and can the whole lot in. but you could have that anywhere with anyone.

I've used Parcel Force/US Postal Service for stuff to/from the states as they work together and the tracking on Parcelforce was good. For Europe I used the DHL Euro Express or equivalent service but booked via the Parcel2Go website.

I wouldn't send anything abroad that's electronic as it leaves the buyer free to say it isn't working when it arrives and then you're in a whole world of pain, anything else then no problem, just make sure it's a 'Signed For' service.
