Gents,
I preusme there must be some coffee connoisseur in the group.
I have a bialette stove top moka express.
Some people have a little filter that sits over the place where the expresso comes out.
Any idea what this "filter" is called?
Mine never came with ome and I think it stops splashing and improves the crema on the brewed coffee.

I run one of those (or a clone) but there's no filter on the pouring spout on mine.
There are two perforated discs within it, basically the top and bottom of the chamber containing the ground coffee.
It doesn't make espresso - that requires pressure; around 10 bar to do it properly.
'Instant' coffee is .... ugh!!!
Never, ever, mix milk and coffee!

No filter on the spout of mine either... And I get a reasonable crema for a low pressure system...
Instant coffee isn't coffee, it's a hot cafine filled drink. No more.

Tried a cup of coffee at 14 - hated it, after a long gap tried another cup at 61 - still hated it. Same applied to tea so I will stick to tap water or Wine, Beer and Brandy & Coke.
