Marco was a real tallent in the making, really brightened up the paddock this year, such a great loss for something he loved doing.

Very sad news indeed - a great rider.
Reading the article, they say his helmet came off during the crash 
Must have been a hell of a spill to make that happen.

RIP Marco.. Thats a real big lose to GP. He was the next guy to take over from Rossi. A true talent and he will be missed by all the riders.

I saw this on another forum, as I missed this mornings race. Glad I did really.
Horrible, horrible news.
The guy was an amazing talent and obviously had a passion for what he did, riding at the limit and beyond every time he was on track. He was my
favourite rider on the grid, and one of a new generation I was looking forward to following for many years to come.
A massive loss of a true legend and brilliant sportsman.
I feel for Edwards too but there was nothing he could have done to avoid him.

i recorded the races and watched earlier but they did not say why the moto gp race was cancelled just that there had been a accident.

Obviously RIP to Simoncelli, but I feel bad for Colin Edwards - I reckon he may even retire now...
Also Rossi may well think about his future with a below par Ducatti, will not suprise me if he calls time on moto gp and goes to car racing in the
next year or two.
