Re-felted my shed roof
nick205 - 13/4/19 at 04:09 PM

My garden shed roof was leaking (cr8p felt). So with today's weather warm and dry my brother in law and I stripped and re-felted.

Used some IKO 15 year felt from Wickes. Easy to fit and looks neat and tidy. Not a fan of rain, but almost wanting it to rain now to check it works as it should.

Have spent my whole week off work building a huge three story rabbit hutch in mine, hoping to have finished it tomorrow, damn cold out there....

The felt that was on there was rubbish, hopefully better now.

And yes it has cooled off quite a bit outside now.

You must of had a heatwave were you are yesterday, as it never went above 8 here, so inside jobs were done instead

Warm enough here in Hampshire, did the work in a t shirt and wearing shorts today. Cooled off in the evening yesterday mind, but OK for me.

Anybody used EPDM?

I've seen some 'shed roofing kits' with this and the associated adhesive.

Any good?
