Where to get T-peices for cooling system
Jasongray5 - 22/9/10 at 09:23 AM

Morning Chaps,
Just wondering where I would go to get T-peices for my cooling system? Done a few searchs but no luck? Think they want to be around 32-19-32 and the like.
Many thanks. Jason

Id go with CBS.

Cooling loops are going to be circa 100deg c and under pressure. I wouldnt want to be using pond fittings for that.

Allyfab will also do them to order

I got 32 equal tees from a fish pond hardware supplier used them for Rover thermostat conversions, stand up to the heat and pressure fine.

They also do 25 equal Tees.

I had a similar issue, searched and they were mostly too expensive solutions...
So I went to the scrapyard and bought a big bagful of different cooling tubes, different diametres, T-pieces, Y pieces, curved pieces... It all cost me 10 pounds and it's perfect for the job...

Scrapyard source Rover 75 has an unequal tee (ISTR 32x32x19) going into the bottom hose from the header tank. No longer available from Xpart Rover as a new part.
