Clutch reservoir lower than slave cylinder
Markymark - 17/6/14 at 12:44 PM

Hi all

Just want to get your thoughts on the above.

What to fit a clutch master cylinder with built in resevoir, like below

http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=562_582_584&products_id=4051

This would mean the reservoir would be lower than the slave cylinder

Can you see any issue with back flow of fluid, or problems bleeding the system?

Thanks, as always

Mark

Tends to be more of an issue with a clutch than the brakes you would be better using a type with a separate reservoir.
If you need a small reservoir they can be found in breakers if you can find a Rover 600 or a related Honda model.
I have one complete with bracket if you get stuck.

Thanks for that

Thought it might be the case, the only reason for chosing that one was it is a bit shorter and I'm tight for room and it would look a bit neater.

Thanks for the offer of the reservoir, but I'm sure I can sort something.

Cheers

Mark

My Fury has the integral reservoir below the slave cylinder , I put a bleed in the highest point - never had a problem with it .
