Carb setup in Birmingham
Locobladechak - 20/8/14 at 02:11 PM

Hi,

Could anyone recommend, near Birmingham, some place I could go to have my bike Carburetors set up on my Fireblade BEC?
It is running really rich and will not idle for long.

I have my first race on 1st Sept so am in a bit of a hurry.

Many thanks.

Ranjan.

What about Bailey? I think they are near and may possibly do carbs as well as efi.

Can highly recommend Mick at HiTech Motorsport. Mick is old school and does carbs standing on his head. His young lad, cant remember his name, is very into ECU and Injection stuff. They are based in Cradley Heath 01384-561777

I'd also recommend Mick at HiTech.
He did a great job on my Escort a few years back.

Thank you for the recommendations; I am now booked in with Hi-Tech.

Good to know Dale
Its a RS1800 on cbr6's and webcon ecu which came off a track car with the same engine
Runs/goes well but would be nice to optimise it and see if theres a few more horses in there via cam timing etc
Be in touch
