had it running for a few minutes....seems ok so far
got to sort out the throttle bodies.... my new engine is one of the ones missing a thread in one of the holes that the jenveys use
rekon i have some m8 helicoils somewhere

so got round to stripping the old engine out today

all 4 pistons have cracks around the rings, no sign or knocking on the plugs or the top of the pistons....
not sure what happened

any thoughts ?

over revving on downshift, possibly.
