Can anyone provide dimensions for the above? 6 speed and 5 if there is a differance.

Hi there. I don't have direct measurements but I do have this picture comparing the RX8 6 speed to a Type 9.
I have the IS200 variant of the AJ6 box in my car. I have a spare box which you are welcome to borrow if it might help your assessments. It is virtually identical to the RX8 box, size-wise. I'm only 20 mins from Chesterfield.
What engine are you using?

Thanks for that. Using the Jag AJ30 engine with the Getrag box. I am going to play around with a spare engine over the winter,
a 6 speed with 5 usable ratios would be nice The Getrag is a very short box!!
Moving house shortly, so would like to take you up on your offer after that?

The AJ6 is a lot longer than that Getrag. I bought two IS200 boxes for peanuts. They have a gearlever extension not featured on the RX8 box. I had to make a "reverse remote" to move the lever five inches forward.
Its a super box though. First is a bit low but the remaining five are nice and close.
U2U me at a convenient time.

Hi
do you have any more details on fitting the IS200 box to the AJ30
I'm about to help someone swap to the Jag motor, but found the Jag box difficult to get a hold of.
