Blackbird clutch slave cylinder.

Can a
nybody know what needs doing with the clutch slave cylinder on a blackbird to get clearance for the prop/flange?

Only asking as they're swapping an early 'blade for a blackbird in an MNR on this channel...

I've worked on one a few times (pif's MK from here) but I can't remember how it was done. Just that the banjo was tight for space.

Hi Adi,

I have a Honda Blackbird in my Locost and it looks as though they had an issue with flange clearance too. They were able to shave some of the outer housing off to allow for clearance of the flange. It isn't the prettiest solution but has held and enables some faultless miles from myself.

I will try and snap some photos this evening and upload these for reference. From memory there is a supporting outer frame that doesn't interfere with the slave cylinder that can be reduced down.
