WANTED Ali rad for 06 R1 MK Indy.

Hi all,

As above I’m after a radiator for my 06 R1 MK Indy. Preferably aluminium but may end up going for a vw polo rad and making that work as it’ll end up cheaper.

Any help much appreciated.

Dave

I ended up buying one 2nd hand but pretty much brand new.

eBay lists new ones for about £180. Obviously just make sure the connections are in the right places

Hello,

I had mine made - and it wasn't exactly cheap but I had specific requirements.

You should be able to get something with 25mm outlets made for <£200 delivered though.

Good luck!

Standard Polo 1.1 rad should be up to the job and probably the cheapest option.
I've also bought from here in the past...

Good quality and a choice of core thickness. Identical to the ones MNR sell.

There is a golf rad that is 50mm wider than the polo VW334 1.4-1.6 golf 1995 ( 430x320x34 )

That's what I have in the Fury. Does it fit in a 7 nose cone?

There's also a rare VW Santana one that's another 40 wider.

Yes adithorp, it's designed to fit the MK Indy and also my MAC#1, both 7 clones.

I used one of these, works really well, with no problems with ZX9 and Jag AJ30 engines.
