Interior mirrors
HI ALL
Can anyone tell me the minimum size of a interior mirror or do you not need one on a indy . last job MOT next week

You need an interior mirror and an offside (right hand side in this country) mirror. If you cant get the required field of vision from these, then you
need to fit a nearside mirror.

I got a nice one for 5 quid odd inc P&P from MAC#1 motorsport. Fits using a suction cup, seems sound and seems to give a decent rear view when
fitted to my MK. I'll try to get a pic in the next day or two.

Alister,
IIRC, a mirror fitted using only the suction cup may fail SVA. I seem to think they need to be PERMANENTLY fixed. I stand to be corrected tho

I wasn't aware of that - mind you the bloke at MAC1 motorsport assured me several cars have passed with this mirror.
It's not a 'normal' suction cup - it has a small mechanical device that engages the vacuum.
I think a picture would explain a lot better than my words!
If you twist the collar the cup holds on - it's pretty solid too. My main concern was that the stalk wasn't long enough!
