Compomotive CXR wheels - which variety?

Hopefully going to be ordering my wheels this afternoon through the group buy being organised on blat chat.

I'm going to be getting a set of 13x6
Compomotive CXRs in ET18 offset.

The only problem is, the CXR comes in a number of varieties.

For a 13x6 wheel in ET18, you can get two slightly different styles - the 1362 or the 1361.

On the 1361 wheel, the spokes are slightly further inset from the outer edge of the rim, which I think looks a bit better, although this reduces the space inside the wheel for the caliper.

I know from past threads on here that people have succesfully fitted 13" CXRs over both front and rear wilwood powerlites, however I'm not sure if they are referring to the 1362 or the 1361 style.

Have phoned Compomotive, and they've sent me through brake clearance diagram, but I don't have my calipers to hand right now, they're at my parents' house. Can anyone with these wheels let me know which style they've succesfully used?

Many thanks,

Jek

Thanks Adrian, that's exactly what I was hoping to hear, I'll get the 1361s.

The brake clearance diagram doesn't have any info on it, it just shows you a bunch of measurements you must make and email to Compomotive. I can email you a copy Alastair, or if you ask Compomotive, they'll send you one.

Cheers,

Jek

Gah, being a manufacturer of course its geared towards "youre buying new wheels, wil they fit over your existing brakes" not what I want which is "heres a drawing of our wheels to use to size your custom brakes"

Cheers

finally got round to completing the form they sent me and got this in return:

So the short answer is no, it wont fit!

I'm trying to get a more detailed diagram of a powerlite caliper from Wilwood to check if there is any chance of it clearing!

I've also emailed Team Dynamics to see if pro race rims will fit.
