Having missed all the shows this year that falls on the weekend i come back from holiday in cumbria.
Iv just informed swimbo that stafford is half way home back to stowmarket and only a small detour so its a perfect stop off.
We'l be there, unless if tiddling down.

Dont worry about the rain Dan, we shall have the gazebo up and there will be a plentious supply of falling down juice. With all the wind and rain
we've had at shows this year we are well oiled in the procedure now. We look forward to seeing you there.

Oh and have a nice holiday Dan. (and Mrs Dan.)

With reference to camping at Stafford, I have got this reply From the Organiser.
'Hi Clive,
Camping is on a field to the RHS of the actual showground (not shown on map). Cost is £15 per pitch. We don't mind owners club tents to go along
with the clubs, but no campers in the display area please.
The camping area is accessible 24/7. Yes you can set-up on Friday.
Campers can walk into and out of the showground unhindered. The gates to the actual showground will be opened at 8am both days.
Kind regards,
Den Tanner'

£15 a pitch!
Is there hot a cold running stella on offer, free use of a gas barbeque, 24hr tent service?
They were doing a survey of what it meant to be british on the BBC site earlier - 1st place was 'being ripped off'...
p.s Oh - and second was complaining

Turkey. Temperature there at the moment is in the mid thirties , not that I want to get you jealous. Regards. Mel.

If the weather is poor on Friday when I finish work I may decide to drive over early Saturday as I don’t fancy getting stuck on the M1 in the rush
hour Friday traffic in the pouring rain.
Paul
edit - ----
Will be down Saturday morning 8am and plan to go straight in to show ground and put car on stand. I think I may set the tent up on the club stand stay
there as I dont fancy paying £15 to camp in a wet mudy field owned by the farmer next door.
