Hmm, was that the Donington Trackzone event a couple of Fridays ago? I remember a yellow beastie flying around. If so, i was the blue & black Locost racer having trouble overtaking even that flippin' Renault Scenic on the straights.

I need a quicker engine...

Hi what you need to do rob is try and find a trackday were there will be lots of simalar cars with simalar power and then you would be more competative i think there is one at silverstone this weekend and one at donnington on sept 17.

It's getting serious if your testing for a trackday tho.

cheers matt

Sorry for the thread hijack

Nah, i've tried that and it's too difficult. At least i had a chance against the Scenic!

Actually he helped me to my best laptime of the evening - i chopped 1.4 seconds off the Locost lap record thanks to an absolutely massive tow from the Renault. If only he could be around this weekend i might actually have a chance at Silverstone!

SIDE VENTS WITH ORANGE LED REPEATERS

I was looking into these from Car Builder Solutions (until I discovered, there'd be a minor problem fitting them - there's an exhaust in the way, one side of where I wanted to put them)

About 3/4 of the page down

SIDE VENTS WITH ORANGE LED REPEATERS

I thought they looked less of an after thought (if you can get 'em to fit!)

Just a thought.

Yup, that was me, the marshalls thought it was a beast as well - a loud one, I got warned for 101dB on the start / finish straight. That's what comes of coming out of Goddards dropping into second and flooring it. I'd hit 7000rpm just as I passed the sound meter as was changing into third.

ps I thought I was dreaming when I came round Coppice at quite a pace and there was a Renault Scenic in my way. He didn't move over to let me past either !
