Excellent! - I got my engine cranking WITH SPARKS today so I just need a bit of petrol pipe & I should be alive (fingers crossed - maybe Monday??).
I got the slightly taller GTS bodywork & it looks as though it will all fit under the hood quite easily (including the filter)
Result!
Cheers

Order and money sent to TAD Ltd.

May take a few days for the bank to shuffle digits around though.

Will update you all when I know more.

Cheers,

Update email from Steve:

Dear Customer, Many thanks for your recent order, but we must inform you that there has been a delay in the shipment from ITG. They have received unprecedented order levels and have a large backlog of filter orders that they are currently trying to clear. Estimated time for delivery to us is the 24th or 27th March.   We appreciate that some of you placed your orders back in February and can only apologise for this situation, which is beyond our control. We normally try to keep decent stock levels to avoid such scenarios.   We thank you for your patience in the meantime and will keep you informed of progress. Best Regards,

Sorry if that inconvieniences any of you and appologies for any delays.

Also for info - all filters will be going directly to yourselves and not to me to distribute.

Pat...

Had another email from Steve.

He's gonna be sending out all the backplates so at least we can all be ready.

Reason ITG are struggling is that Cosworth have bought lots of filters for their F1 engines and they are struggling to keep up.

At least we're 2nd in the queue to someone important.

Sorry guys - what more can I do

Pat...

Not your fault mate. Or Steves.

At least we know we are getting top notch stuff if F1 are using them.

Shit Joel. I guess you don't have the same postie as me. Mine actually came out to my garage to say he'd just popped some car bits in my postbox. Considering my garage is not next to my flat I'd say he done well.

I haven't opened it though, too busy playing with my other goodies. Will check tomorrow though.

I'll get you a new one. No charge. Can you send that one back to me please:

4 Bankview Cres.
Darvel, Ayrshire KA17 0LB.

Ta.

Fekking Post Office

BTW - it takes some force to do that to the package - the postie must've been really trying... I'd have a word if i were you. I think he'd have done that even with a fragile sticker on it.
