The New F1 Ferrari car

I know the aero reasons for it (ie they had to due to the rules) but yuck!!!

Looks all out of proportion....

I was literally just about to post this! I really hat the rear wing. The front on the other hand is great except for the length of the nose!

Apart from the stupid rear wing, I think the new cars look great. All the little flicks and bits of aerodynamic tweakery were starting to look rubbish (especially the Honda Dumbo ears!), whereas this year's cars look like they're supposed to be slippery.....

"Have you seen the prototype for 2017 yet?? "

That is one of the prettiest f1 cars ever made - is that the Chris Amon car? or maybe mike Parkes - god what an anorak I am!!!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I'd love to see F1 run with cars like that once more...
...where you can see the effort that the driver has to put into the race.

I can see a lot of these front wings getting knocked off in first corner incidents.

With so little downforce at the back are'nt the cars going to be very oversteery ? ... maybe thats a good thing.

Looks a bit better than the test mules BMW were running during a couple of weeks ago. Almost as bad as the walrus nose

Well I think it looks not to bad myself.
My only reservation is whether they will be able to win the championship by their own means and without the help of stewards and the FIA.

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Hmmm, I'll be more interested when they bring back turbos, proper gearboxes and crossplys

Well the wing looks higher, so that should help it get smooth air, therefore ought to work better, even though the total area is smaller.

Ugly though isn't it?

Next thing, you'll be asking for round steering wheels, outboard front shocks and dial gauges in the cockpit
