OT(sort of) Honda Vtec 2.2

Hi Lads

I have seen a few threads on here about bike throttle bodies and magasquirt etc and was contemplating (maybe) doing a conversion project on my 2.2 Vtec 185bhp Prelude. The induction roar is fantastic at the minute on a completely standard airbox but what would it not be like with TB's? Do you think there would be power gains as the output is quite high as is? Are there any other ways of breathing a few more horses into this mighty engine without too much expense? All replys are welcome as this is only a thought I had a few seconds ago.

thanks

my aim is to build my own locost wether it takes me a week or 10 years to get started, i'm sure i will sometime

ITB´s on a stock H22a will not gain much, it is the last mod to do on a build engine.

I would mod the engine in this order:

Good free flowing exhaust
Cold air intake
Good header (hytech, smsp or ssr)
Engine manegement(hondata, ectune, or aem)
Euro R intake manifold.
Type S pistons or Marle goldseries 11,5 cr pistons.
Skunk2 Pro2 cams + valve train + cam gears.
Stroke it with a F22 or H23 crank.
ITB´s
