crossflow distributor hole bung
Hi getting all the parts together for my megasquirt conversion and i need a bung for the dizzy hole has anybody got one or can make one

BTW: although the drawing says to use mild steel - aluminium is just as good, easier to machine, and doesn't rust.
To be honest - any hard metal that's available will do.

mine was just a flat plate bolted over the whole with a gasket

In my case, I had the metal, and I have a lathe...
BTW: I re-used the dizzy's own clamp to fix the bung into the block (another reason I did it this way)

When I did mine I used aluminum , and didnt bother with the `o`ring - I just glued it in with some thread sealer
Its cuz I is blond , innit

Made mine from a lump of ally I had , used an "o" ring and made it an interference fit . I have drilled and tapped a hole in the top just
in case I ever need to get it out.
