I can usually do a pigs-worth of Mr Scratchings on a Sunday night in the pub. As for crumbly, maize based snacks, Pickled Onion Monster Munch are the daddies. Closely followed by Nice n Spicy Nik-Naks, Rib n Saucy Nik-Naks, and then on to the various Spicy Space Raiders/Tangy Toms/etc...
Bacon Fries need a mention but they are in a different league..........forget those evil Scampi Snack things. Fish crisps?? I don't think so...

Scotch Eggs, mmmmm

I used to work at Millers in Poole (Christmas work when I was a student). I was in charge of the scotch egg machine, all I had to do was load one hopper with eggs and the other with the meaty paste stuff.

At frequent intervals a food fight broke out across the factory, afterwards to hide the evidence all the missiles went straight back in the hoppers.

I havn't eaten a scotch egg since.

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Scampi Fries - I worked in a pub that sold them roughly 22 years ago! I tried one then and haven't touched them since and I can still remember the taste!!
I quite like Seabrook Crisps at the moment but I do go through phases and you can't beat a cheap maize based snack.
One issue that I do have with potato / maize based stuff is that of flavours and descriptions. e.g. Prawn cocktail appears to be an industry standard for a manky flavour that bears no relationship to a prawn cocktail. I suppose it is the same for most flavours. I tend to like "beef flavour" stuff but it doesn't taste like beef. Cheese and onion are nice but not really cheesy or oniony and as for smoky bacon!!
