am i right in hearin that it only has 35 bhp but does 70 mpg!

You're hearing it right, but it's not right (unless you're in the US).
It works out at 84mpg (imperial) !?!

I've just spent 20 minutes reading about the MAX car. The chap whos built it sounds like an ace bloke. LOL@ him crashing it as soon as it was
registered though!

Ive got a 2cv engined ali 2 seater, inspired by 'The Book', but on original chassis so no lightweight. Lots of fun, does about 80 with the
wind behind it. Whole different experience from driving the Locost, but I'm undecided which I prefer!
