Got one (customers) that refuses to stop when the key is turned off. Someone has
fecked about with the fusebox and put an inline fuse in which when pulled stops the
engine.
I want to put control either back to the key or a "proper" off switch as I don't think
the MOT peeps will appreciate the current setup.
Things like this are so much easier with a wiring diagram.

Mmm is the fuse the only addition.?? I've done quite a bit of work on these Daf's in the past. First thing that came to mind was that a
relay could be " latched on" by this fuse keeping power going to the pump solenoid even with the key off ( but why). Is it a second
user??
Maybe an adaptation from the first user left in place.
good luck.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Was given duff info when first saw thr truck. Aparently it broke down and the AA
over rode the fuel solenoid supply with the aforementioned in line fuse. Sorted that
problem (bad connection to a connector on the dash panel but still cannot get the
brake warning buzzer to work.
It comes on when the cab is tilted (assuming it doubles up as a tilt warning) so it's
not the buzzer itself.

Yeah it doubles as the cab warning. IIRC theres a switch on the air tanks somewhere.
