Has anyone looked into the renesis rotary yet?

It's been a while since I've posted on here, and I realize this has probably been ask before, but ...Now that the rx8 has been out for almost a year has anyone heard of any "new rotary" powered locost out there?

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy...

a year? not in the Uk it hasnt.

I would imagine with most new cars/engines the story will be the same. The only place you will find a decent engine will be from a write off. Even that will be expensive. Also, to write off a new car there has to be significant damage, normally to the front....just where the engine is.

But like I say, even if you did find one, it would probably be very expensive, so it wouldnt be my choice of engine.

There was an RX-7 rotary on here a while ago, which is probably more locost.

Cheers
Mark

Mazda do sell the renesis engine separately, to cater for formual mazda racing. Do a google search for "renesis" and "crated", although finding a source / price seems to be eluding me! I would be very interested if anyone has more luck at finding them.
