Recommend me some PS2 games

I've re-discovered my PS2 after nearly selling it. Connected it up for the first time to my nice plasma and got all excited about it again.

Favourite games are Tricky SSX (snowboarding) and Burnout Takedown... basically I like a game I can play for just 30 mins and have a bit of fun crashing, doing tricks, or killing stuff.

So now second hand PS2 games are so cheap on Ebay, can anybody recommend me some good games to try out, nothing complicated or too time consuming for my poor old brain ....

buy a ps3, they are cheap enough now and games are getting cheaper every month, and they make the ps2 look like it was made buy apes!

BLACK is awesome, near-nextgen graphics and lots of "killing stuff". Also Gran Turismo 2, obviously

Or get a PS3 and see what all the fuss is about although the HDMI port just broke on mine and the replacement Sony have offered (at cost of couse)

Can't be spending out £300+ on gaming at the moment, and to be honest I've stopped the hard core gaming a couple of years ago. Just want a few games to have a laugh with the mates with a few beers. Here's what I've gone for so far:

Virtua Fighter 4
SSX 3
Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec
God of War
Destroy all Humans
Burnout Dominator

And all less than a fiver I'll got ake a look at Black as well....

You need some Grand Theft Auto in your life. I found Vice City the most fun.

But the real best-game-evaar on PS2 is without a doubt Guitar Hero

Had a bit of GTA on my PC, liked it a bit but got bored.... I liked the original simple top down one with the groups of nuns you could run over

Guitar Hero .... mmmmm.... might be worth a look

As for Wipeout games, I love the Burnout series for that reason ...

Gran Turismo 4?
GTA San Andreas is still the most comprehensive imo, although I managed to play it for 3 hours and get nothing done!
