Stoneleigh from East Yorkshire

There are a few posts for Stoneleigh so I thought I would see whose up for going on the Sunday from around the Hull area.
Probably meet others at Woodhall Services or some other Services on the M1.

Me all being well.

Still not got a tow barge sorted to get my car to Boggs untaxed. Looks like I will have to drive it there on the 1st.

Route

We aught to decide on a route, the Northern lads are going M18, A1 then A46.
I guess we can either go M62/M18 or go over the Bridge, A15 then A46.
Those that when in 7's last year, which way did you go?
Si.

I proposed going down the A1 - A614 - A6097 - A46 instead of the M1 due to 14 miles of roadworks, 50mph with average speed cameras.

Used that route a couple times now on me way up and down and its much better, better drive, nicer roads no extra miles etc etc...

Would you lads be coming down the A46 round Lincoln?

Steve

I would not mind going A15-A46 or M18 -A1 - A46???

A15 (Lincoln) seems to be 30ish miles shorter.

For the last few yrs I have always met up at Woodhall but the M1 is boring!

I would like to meet the convoy from up north but if they are meeting at Wetherby for 10:00am then they'll not make the show till at least lunch time. After talking with Andy W yesterday he also usualy set's of about 7am to get in the show for about 10:30-11:00.
I have always set off early to get there for around 10am so you can see plenty of the show and take your time.
I think for this reason I will be going earlier so not meeting the guys from the north. Maybe some of them will travel back at the same time, we'll see.
If anyone else is going with Andy and I we'll have to decide on a meeting point or if there is just a couple of os then a route past each others houses to pickup on route.
Lets hope the weather does not scupper plans!
Si.

I can't make it this year but our old man will be going down to Stoneleigh in the Indy. Could meet up at Blyth services on the A1, just needs to know what time.

Si,

That thought had crossed my mind too. I am not staying so would rather go earlier.

We can still meet up and go A1 but just set off from Hull earlier.

Would most likely be picking up the 614 to Blyth, if that's ok. Or could go M18- A1 if people prefer.

I'm easy, but can we decide before sunday.
If we are meeting people at Woodall services then it has to be the dreaded M1, but either way i can meet you all at the M180-M18 services.

I'll put a vote in for the A63 and A614 to Blyth.
Think Mark from Beverley will be happy with route and Time also.
Brad, just where you want to meet our group either at the bridge or Blyth?

Phil, that's great, we hope to be there nearer the 8:30 mark, weather and traffic permitting.
That is the services at the roundabout of the A614 and the A1?
