MNR No.80 Complete

Hello everyone,

Its been a while since we bought it but hopefully you'll be pleased to hear MNR Vortx number 80 is OTR bar a fresh set of plates!
Since sva we have been overly lazy mainly my new job and then trying fit in time to resolve our emissions problem, not easy when its difficult to diagnose whats causing the fault as there are so many variables. Stupid thing is its a part a specialist provided that isnt suitable for the job and not the other things i had done which I've questioned, removed, tested and usually refitted wasting much time and money. Soon as the right part was fitted guess what - it sailed through emissions 0% carbon, lambda fine and HC around 60 ppm.

A special thanks to mates Dan, Paul, Pete, James. A huge thank you to Jim(Jim Giblet) with our hugely bodged electrics and the rest; David (DaveyD), Paul (pdlewis) Stuart (stuartG), Steve(Coozer), Vinny(vinny1275), John (Johneturbo) and everyone else for all the support they have given. Finally lets not Forget Marc, Chris and the team at MNR - Its been a bumpy road at times but then building a car is never going to be plain sailing so thanks for answering all the calls, emails, for the kit itself, getting parts out and the rest.

Bumper bar is already in a skip and il get some new pics to follow once the SVA gear is ripped out and set on fire although its stuck on pretty tight - DOH!

If anyone has any questions im happy to help as others have me so drop me a U2U

Regards
Adam

Well done mate. I presume that the Suzuki inlet air temp sender was the problem all along then?

What a shame it cost you so much time. Still, it's great you're finished now.

I say that, but in reality, you've only just started! Now you have the car the tweaks and modifications can begin.

Cheers guys. Its still a proud momentwondering into the garage and seeing just how far its come from that (1st)bare chassis we picked up in the cold winter months.

It is a shame about the sensor and all the problems it caused but atleast it is sorted now and i can finally map it so it runs right and should be even better once i have a new link pipe for the bike silencer in the garage.

Steve - where abouts is newark?
