Bec engine choice???

Hi all, Fireblade or R1, which would be the best-- thinking carb models-- 97-99 ish MK kit.

Personally I reckon for ease of install, availability and low running costs the carbed blade is the way forward - for slightly more power the R1 takes it but the early ones did have quite fragile clutches and boxes.
For bang for buck I still think the blade is hard to beat but that is only my own personal opinion
We have supplied and run loads of blade packs over the years and they throw up very few issues
