Crossflow Engine
I need a 1300 or 1600 crossflow without ancillaries.
Must be running and good condition.
Cheers

I have a freshly rebuilt engine still on the stand.
Skimmed block, honed, new pistons, rings, bearings etc.
Its taking up space in my parents garage (near NEC west mids) you can have it for £50 if you collect.
Its seen standing for a few years, but has has oil run around and been turned over periodically.
I also havea 1600 GT head which can go with it, i started to port it but the project got shelved a few years back, i'm pretty sure i have the
inlet manifold too.
The sump has a baffled oil return welded on (can easily e blocked off) and i have an exhaust manifold which has been modified to accept a garrett T3
turbo

Wow, Trems, why can't I live in England. Xflows are rare over here, thanks to the Formula Ford guys. I think I have the only 1300cc in the
States. I just blew the head gasket in it and I am about to tear into it to find out why. I wonder if I could get it to fit in a suitcase?????? Russ

What do you mean by the sump has a baffled oil return welded?
Is the head ready to go straight on the engine?
Is it a 1300 block?
I have the all the ancillaries off my old engine.

The oil return is baffled to give a little back pressure to the turb oil outlet.
1300 Block yes, came from a 1300S Ford Fiesta (hence water pump)
Head need building, its just bare casting at the mo so valves, pushrods, springs, retainers, rocker assembly and posts required.
I've also got a knackered T3 turbo which needs a rebuild which i'll throw in for £35 if anyone fancies the conversion. Rebuild kits are
around £50 as far as i can remember.
