Air Rifle

Following this post http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=119643

Its got me going to get a rifle again. I need it for rabbiting and vermin duties so needs to be full power. I would also like a complete set-up with gun, telescopic and bag.

So, anyone want to swap some cash for their not used gun?

It's my B'Day on Wed so I want to get myself an early present!

I've not got bundles of cash but I would like a reasonable quality rifle, so no £59.00 Chinese rubbish!

Ta!

yet we all know mine will not last, and his will

Yes but you'll need 3 porters to carry the compressor

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Gte yourself over to aigunforums.co.uk there are loads of good guns available on there.

Can recommend the following, but will depend on your budget. All will last a lifetime and all are full power and very accurate:

BSA Lightening XL
Theoben Evolution
Weirauch HW95K
Air Arms TX200HC (same as mine)

For a second hand BSA you would be looking at artound £200 with scope and bag. For the others you are looking £325-375 for a secondhand one.

The top 3 are very lightweight, break barrel. The TX is quite heavy and underlever but by far and away the most accurate springer rifle available today IMO.

My TX200HC came from Michael Tawn as he has a great deal on at the moment which is the new rifle, scope, mounts and silencer for £359.

I have a .22 HW95k with hawk 3-9x40 scopes that just sits ontop of my wardrobe. I bought it on a whim 2nd hand last year, used it a few times but have just not got the time to use it. I paid 280 plus postage for it. Interested in making an offer?

Coincidentally I bought one of these too, the £325 option, 6x40 scope. Seems a well made piece of kit, very accurate, but I do prefer conventional sights.

A lot of forums dont allow registration using web based email addresses. Try using your work email
