Prices are a bit optimistic imo.
Looks good tho, canny choice of donor. If I was doing it it would have a TD in it

what are the spares costs, i.e. all those bits and pieces like wheel bearings, refurbed calipers, dust seals, etc. etc. ?
The good thing about Ford stuff is that those bits seem to be pretty cheap.
Working the instruments into the dash will save a heap of cash (even if it isn't beautiful or waterproof).
Interesting.

Seeing another viable source of donor is a good thing especially as it uses a large amount of the donor bits.
Beemer bits aren't that expensive unless you go exotic (but that's the same with most manufacturers)

M3 bits would be expensive but normal BMW parts aren't hard to come by cheap as the 3 series is one of the most popular cars in the world and
there are many companies making bits for them.
I originally wanted to use a 3 series donor using a book chassis modified to suit but have since realised its a bit optomistic.

I like the idea, look nice too with the exception of the dash. Easy to mcgyver a classic 7 dash in there though.
7 with straight6.... mmmm.....
The E90 straight 6s are apparently far lighter than the previous versions, all ally and magnesium apparently. That'd be interesting.
