MK Owners club

Just joined the MK Indy owners club. Went straight to the forum section to see what usefull info may be about only to find that there has not been a post in over a month!! Is it always that quite? Just bought myself a Indy R1 and also have a VX220, that forum is always buzzing and you ask a question and get a responce in minutes rather than months!

Hi, you will find that owners of all kitcars frequent this site, myself an mk owner (cec mind) and many other mk owners are always on here. If it is mk specific chuck it in the mk section or if not put it under one of the other sections in the list, there is a lot of knowledge here about all aspects of locosts and kits and life in general it seems!

...because you have to get out of the car and push if you want to turn round

Cheers Guys, wasted a tenner then

Looks like this forum is as bitchy as VX220.org with a good bit of healthy rivalry between BEC & CEC. Its so obvious though that BEC is better even if we do have to get out and push occasionally

It's not rivalry! Rivalry implies some level of equality in the competition!

precisely... and there is no equality, cause CECs (crap engined cars) are nowhere near as good.
also, iva says you have to have a reverse, so new owners wont have to push...
not that its a hassle cause were so much lighter...plus we have extra time to cause were so much faster too

Be a bit more gentle with the throttle, then you won't be pointing in the wrong direction on the first place!

Welcome

And if you want to enter the GOME 6 hour event for "hand built cars" your factory built VX220 will fit in nicely but your hand built BEC will be banned............ work that one out, I cant.

Welcome btw.

I signed up too ... very disappointed, but maybe it'll take off and be good. Won't replace this site though, is my expectation.
