Whats wrong with Snow Chains?? Ive got some, and had to get them out the other day. Didnt use them mind, but checked them over.

a car passed me whilst stuck last week with a set on and had been meaning to look these up since. This other car just cruised past and up the hill i
had no chance at and was stuck at the base of for 2 days.
seem worth a punt.
been a bit of a rush job really, bodged it all together in just 5 1/2 years.

£50 is a fair amount of money, id be tempted just to buy a good length of chain and thread it through the spokes on the wheels.

Yes, they're good, my mate in the Pyrennes uses them, BUT will get quickly destroyed on tarmac....
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.
