Use clear silicone sealant. Tip given to me by a professional engine builder (Wildcat)

Be very careful when lubing mission critical bolts especially if they go into a blind hole you can get hydraulic lock.

sorry don't have enough left from mine (got enough left for about 2 bolts)

but arp normaly give you 2 torque settings
-one for there lube
-one for normal engine oil (to whatever grade/spec they say)

Engine oil should be fine with the correct torque.

Really don't like the idea of bits of silicone floating round in my oil although I did use it to help the sump gasket seal...

Will try and get the oil setting then. The bolts are 3/8" X 1 1/2"ARP 2000 if anyone knows it off the top of their head.

The assembly lube is just a good quality moly grease. So if you have some then just use that

This may be a silly question, but Why not Threadlocker?
You could use the least strong (weakest) if you are concerned with the removal.

70lb ft with moly assembly lube
90 lb ft for 30wt motor oil

Is what it said on the leaflet with my ARP bolts
