Update.....Modified Steering Bush
Quick update to my recent post about play in the ford standard steering bush. From the usual excellent advice on here, bought a proper spherical
bearing and housing - £10.80n including delivery.
Fitted tonight was very easy...see pics. I'll make up some angled spacers tomorrow to brace the bracket against the bulkhead then job done but
you get the idea from these pics.
There's now no play in the bush / column and it feels much smoother. Thanks to all who "steered" me (sorry) to take this option
rather than just replace the ford plastic / rubber bush.
Matt

Oi what's wrong with my manifold??????.....from the pic you can't really see it. There's actually a laser cut steel manifold that
butts up directly to the TB's. The Silicone hose is just a felxible link between the two.
Silicone hose is from Artel Motorsport....excellent quality and good prices.
Cheers,
Matt
