Marble adhesive recommendations please.
A big mirror fell off the wall onto the fireplace and broke the end 6" off. It is a light grey slightly marbled pattern and we need to fix
it.
There are specialist glues at £40 a tub but I'm sure there are normal clear glues (epoxy or acrylic, super etc)
Any suggestions without going the specialist/expensive route?
Just found this and would guess it would do the job? what do you think if you have the knowledge?

If its fake or 'cultured' marble then that is usually made from polyester resin and filler made to look like real marble. I know as I used
to make cultured marble sinks and things.
So, if you have some fibreglass resin that would do the trick, or failing that any adhesive 'should' do the trick.
If it was my fireplace I would just use whatever high strength adhesive I had lying about.
If its real marble then I have no idea, but again I would just use whatever I had to hand

Thinking outside the box maybe home insurance would pay out for a nice new fireplace...
Are you a Mac user or a retard?

if you claim on household insurance, remember your premiums will go up for the next couple of years as you have made a claim.
