I have been doing the same number since the lottery started had loads of £10s but only had 4 numbers 4 times in that time, the first 4 numbers was the best payout but its rubbish now, as not so many people seem to be doing the lottery. I did get £11 on the Euro one a few weeks ago

I do lucky dip for this reason.
And also as I'm too lazy to chose my own numbers.

Don't feel too bad. I got 4 numbers years ago when the payout was better and I got... £57. OK, but not exactly life-changing

I'm in a work syndicate - well i didn't want to be the one left turning out the lights. Won plenty over the years but have a policy of ploughing the winnings back into tickets unless we all get a decent amount.

Anyway, few weeks ago we won just over 4k so we all got 230 quid. Luckily i've not bothered working out how much i've put in to get 230 quid so i still feel like a winner

I used to work with a guy who left the company pools syndicate (after several years) when he switched locations... you can guess what happened 6 weeks later... To be fair they did buy him a drink, and he got in the papers...
