iPhone Tarrif for Out of 02 Contract Users

I don't work for O2, just thought I'd put this up as they don't come to you to save you money you have to ask them.

Just found some new handy info on new O2 tarrifs:

If you’ve got an iphone with O2 and are now out of contract, ie you can upgrade when you like, rather than paying the full monthly contract payment you can swap to their simplicity tarrif. This keeps all the same free web/unlimited texts etc.

This can be on another yearly contract if you want to keep your iphone or a rolling 30 day contract if you want to upgrade in a few months time when the new iphone comes out.

300 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 1 Month Rolling Contract - £20 p/month
300 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 12 Month Rolling Contract - £15 p/month

600 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 1 Month Rolling Contract - £25 p/month
600 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 12 Month Rolling Contract - £20 p/month

900 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 1 Month Rolling Contract - £30 p/month
900 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 12 Month Rolling Contract - £25 p/month

1200 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 1 Month Rolling Contract - £35 p/month
1200 Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 12 Month Rolling Contract - £30 p/month

Unlimited Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 1 Month Rolling Contract - £50 p/month
Unlimited Minutes – Unlimited Texts & Data – 12 Month Rolling Contract - £45 p/month

Cool... my initial 18 month £35 a hit contract ends soon! Was hoping there would be a saving of some sort!

When is a new iPhone due?

Thanks for the heads up KO. My 18 month contract ended in January so I just called O2 armed with the info you provided and have gone from £35/month to £25.

apple have been releasing updates/upgrades every 12 months so all the tech blogs are predicting a June-time release.

There wont be any specs available until a few days before the release which is SOP for Apple.
