Anti slip tape on pedals

I'm going to use it on my pedals,will it be okay for IVA?

As long as it's non slip and not made from tissue paper (ie it's robust it'll be fine)

some stuff that comes on the wilwood brake pedals... so if people have passed with those you should be fine, but what do i know... im on the other side of the pond
