putty to bung jets up?

I've read somewhere on here about putty supplied with jetting kits for bunging up the air bleeds on bike carbs - what sort of putty is this and is it available from all good book stores?!

Seems like with these bunged up with cocktail sticks our ZX9 carbs fuel our 2.3 quite well - certainly in gears 1-3 but not had a chance to get a long run in 4th + 5th yet.

I used liquid metal, can get it from Halfords for about £5-6. Its an epoxy product.

I wouldn't put anything gloopy in there, who knows where it can run, Find some metal rod which is a good push in fit.

You can file it down if too big in the drill chuck.

2nd the solder comment. Works a treat and easy to remove if needs be.

Obviously you need to be able to extract the jets to do this...

Hole blockers

If you use the rod that is left over from a pop rivet it works a treat with some araldite

Boggs use small pieces of that ali welding/solder rod wire type stuff, just a few turns on the grinding wheel to put a point onto it and then just tap it in.

Cheers
