Megasquirt problems

Hi Everyone
I'm having problems with my 2.0 silvertop zetec on GSXR 750 T/B's. Its been running fine for the last 2.5 years, then it started missing intermitetly whilt driving under meduim load then it would clear its self and run as normal.
After futher invest i fould a few damaged wire in the loom one running to the coil pack and one running to the injectors, these wires have been repaired.
Now I've got no spark and very little fuel was found on the plugs.

I've replaced the coil pack plugs and leads today.

Has anyone got any more ideas please?

If you have a laptop, this is what i'd start checkign:

Does the MS have power
When cranking, does it still have power?
-> Check earths, power feeds, fuses.

When cranking, does the MS unit register a tach signal - you should see rpms in the region of 100-200rpm or so. The display will register that its cranking too.
->If not, check that your signal form the VR sensor is round the right way, and that its fully connected.

If its registering that its cranking, then likely problem is with the positive feed to the coil and injectors, or the negative earth from the megasquirt.

HTH

David

I'm with Irvined. Crack open the lap top and see what the ECU says.

Do the fuel injectors do a priming pulse (normally you can hear that)?

Is the fuel pump running?

Do you have sparks?

When I opened up the multi plugs for the coil pack the pins inside there were loose, the same with the injector ones.
I've done away with the multi plugs now and just hard wired them in.

My laptop (vista) doesn't seem to want to read the megasquirt disk so having with the ecu side of things
