Had my IVA today.......
Greetings the house.
Well I failed! However not all lost as the three things it failed on were:
1. Edges on the Shock absorbers, the ring at the bottom, although radiused it wasn't enough and the C Spanner ring edge.
Both now well radiused with my Dremmil. So Tick
2. My Side Repeaters need to be resited. He now says they need to be on the front or rear cycle wing / arch. Pondering how best to do this without
leaving holes in he scuttle.
3. The Fog light switch is actually a Front Fog Light Switch so I need to change it Just about to go onto the Europa website to order one.
Thats it. Rest was fine.
All in all Ian was a top bloke. firm but fair and a nice bloke. Mitchem VOSA
Should be taking it back next week.

I think that's a fail as one set would then be classed as side markers. I've got the same dilemma, just hoping I can stick my side
mirrors over the hole for my side indicators

Well done. Nearly there.
I would be pissed off though. Such minor fixes and another 100+? quid for the retest?

Thanks fella's.
OK questions
1. Running a Nov 1968 x-flow so smoke test only.
2. Noise was 93dBA New 7" can from Powerspeed. Great zorst and top company.
3. Have to remove repeaters not in use.
4. Gary, where have you run the wiring for the cycle wing repeaters? Like the sticker idea BTW.
5. Hoping to retest next week.

Good job matey
If I fail on that alone I'll be well chuffed!
As already said, you can be proud of yourself
I guess after your info regarding the dremel treatment, there should be no excuses for any fails on the shock rings now lol!

Same guy who did mine.
Nice bloke isn't he! Didn't even moan when he leaned over the exhaust to look at the carb and melted a hole in his hi-vis jacket!
Cheers,
James
