help please, where's the VIN on a 205

Evening gents, im picking up my new car tonight, a 205 mardi gras td. Does anyone know where to look for the VIN (apart from the V5)

The ally plate is on the RHF inner wing not too far below the screen, the stamped on is just above it on the lip of the plenum panel (it may be obscured by the rubber seal)

think its also stamped into the back of the scuttle pannel

That will be the lip of the plenum panel then!

Yes, it should be on the scuttle return lip.Check carefully though, as it is an etched number that sometimes "disappears", and not only if the car has been accident damaged....
