have i cocked up on emissions?
I have a C20XE (vauxhall calibra engine) fitted to my car with ZX9R bike carbs. I'm fairly confident I can get the CO% down below 3.5 as per
pre-92 vehicles.
I've just got the haynes manual and it states that the engine was fitted up to 1995 so I cant use it as evidence for the IVA man.
I've cocked up on the dates (thought emissions test changed after 95 not 92) am I fecked for getting it through the test?

Don't worry, if you go to the CAT 1 flow chart (for vehicles after 1st Aug 1992) you'll see:
Vehicle
effective
date between
1 Aug ’92 and
31 July ’95?
YES -->
Can you
find an exact
match in the analyser
database or the In-Service
Emissions
Book?
NO -->
Carry out a non
CAT test
CO <= 3.5%
HC <= 1200ppm

what he said
my c20xe was a 1994 one and i used the haynes to prove that it was pre 1995 and did the easy test
