dominator ts400

just been reading which kit and came across this one. my son said that's a gt1 rebodied..... now i'm wondering myself how much of the chassis is actually a gt1
because the cannon gt1 is up for sale and the phone number and name are the same..... still i prefer the gt1 and the new ones even better

Dominator TS400

Hi I'm the MD of Dominator Sports Cars and would like to clarify a couple of points posted, Yes I am the owner of the canon williams liveried MKGT1 a personal build project started in 2002 and yes the car is forsale at £11,995 however this has no connection to DominatorSports Cars and is a totally private sale.
The TS400 is not a clone of the MK chassis, infact the chassis has taken around 11 months to develop with track, wheelbase, suspension geometry and general chassis dimensions all different to the MKGT1. anyone interested in the TS400 can contact info@DominatorSportsCars.co.uk or 01482 822900. Does look like a GT1 though doesn't it?

Perhaps you could post a bigger picture, for us to make a judgement?

Cheers

Chris

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Looks like both the GT1 and the Westfield XTR2.
Why can't anyone be original?

The Dominator is better proportioned in my humble opinion. As for the looking similar, the MK looks 'similar' to the Westie, which looks broadly 'similar' to the Radicals, which look similar to any Sports Prototype car. Companies tend to respond to market forces, and if those forces dictate that the shape shall be reminiscent of a number of other cars, so be it. It will probably sell quite well regardless

Ask a Scotsman what "pish" means or just give it some thought as to what it sounds like.
The kit car world is in danger of being all 7's,cobra's and so called le-mans racers why can't anyone be original after all it's low volume so these firms should be able to do what the big boys can't....oh so very boring.

Personaly I think the car looks and probably is a serious car.
At the price I think theres nothing thats going to touch it.
But then again not all of you folk are in to balls out motoring.
Thats fair enuff
You pay your money and take your choice.
But to say "I wonder why" and "Its Pish"
for no justifiable reason is seriosly taking the Piss. "British version"

Balls out motoring.

You'll freeze to death. You're building an Indy Blade aren't you John. Your licence is going to last about 5 minutes then.
I'll agree that anyone who developes a body to fit a chassis is serious, ask Steve Graber and AlanB.
It's not something you think about for a couple of minutes.
I prefer the GT1 shape to the new one and to the TS400 but I wouldn't insult
any of them.
these firms should be able to do what the big boys can't....oh so very boring, undecideds words. What are they going to do, put more wheels on them?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
